A review of any product is important. The review may make or break the company that has produced the product being reviewed. The same thing goes for writers/authors of books. A review may launch a successful career, hinder one, or a bad review might cause the writer to quit writing period. Most writers, regardless of how many stars are assigned to a book, will appreciate a good, thoughtful review. However, authors hate reviews from people with an evil heart that simply enjoy tearing people's work down.

Audrey's love of reading books begam as soon as she learned to read. In grammar school, since she made all A's, her 7th grade teacher suggested to the principal of the school that Audrey should skip the 8th grade and move up to the 9th grade. Audrey's principal agreed. However, the principal had a better idea for Audrey. The school needed a library and she was confident Audrey could establish one even though she was very young. Over the summer, the principal had carpenters line shelves around an empty classroom, bought tons of books to go on the shelves, hired a degreed librarian to teach Audrey in three days how to establish a library. Upon arriving at school after summer vacation, Audrey went to work and by the time it was summer vacation again, she had established a well-working library for her school. Although Audrey has accomplished many important things since then, she is very proud of establishing this library...at 13 years of age and accomplished by herself.

Helping an addict to face up to their addiction and get professional help is good, but providing shelter, food, and making excuses for them when they are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves is called “enabling.” This book has medical information explaining the process of addiction, descriptions of addicts and enablers, plus some "true stories" of both addicts and enablers. These stories will help an "enabler" to fulling recognize how "helping" an addict can be detrimental to their overcoming their addiction.

This is a story about my best friend who came down with Alzheimer's disease at the age of 50 y.o. The author tells how her husband took care of her for nearly 20 years and she died at home. The author points out how her husband dealt with the hardship after she got bedridden and how people criticized and gossiped about him. He said that was harder to deal with than taking care of his wife. There are some lessons to be learned by reading this book.

Absolute Proof That God Really Exists

My life was a mess. I had faith in God, but sometimes I wondered if he really exists. One day, my best friend and I held a prayer meeting with two pastor's wives. Sitting around a kitchen table holding hands, and praying for a few minutes, I earnestly prayed for God to manifest himself to me. My eyes were tightly shut, and in the darkness, I saw a tiny white dot of light in the far distance. This light kept moving toward me and got bigger and bigger until it slammed into my face. The other three ladies were involved physically as if an electrical current coursed through all of us. The physical aspects of the miracle stopped at that point with them but continued with me. Somehow, they knew the miracle was only meant for me. You can find out what happened from that moment on when you read my book. You must believe me because I do not lie, am not mentally unstable, and have never once questioned my faith since this happened to me.
